Saskia (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist working across the realms of dance, music and spoken word, aiming to be a storyteller, activist and visionary through art. 

 

As a dancer, they have trained and competed internationally in the styles Krump and Waacking, working alongside other multidisciplinary artists such as FKA Twigs and for  brands; Nike, Dr.Martens and the BBC. 

 

She is a violinist training in Classical and Jazz, revered on the underground music scene as part of 5-piece band Nihilism and the avant-garde Levitation Orchestra. With them she has performed at venues such as; Jazz Cafe, Southbank Centre and the London Jazz Festival & released 3 studio albums.

 

As a choreographer she has co-created works- Dedicated to Dizzy, Stardust & ICA Sonic Transmissions (with HOA). And in 2019 won the Startin’ Point Commission in 2019 from the place to develop her first full length choreographic work.
